A leading financial institution is hiring an AVP for their IPO team.

Overview:
A leading financial market regulator is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join its IPO team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the integrity and development of Hong Kong's capital markets by assessing listing applications and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the vetting of IPO applications, including reviewing prospectuses and financial disclosures.
• Assess applicants' compliance with listing rules, corporate governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with sponsors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to clarify issues and ensure timely processing.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on listing eligibility and regulatory interpretations.
• Participate in policy development and contribute to enhancements in listing processes and standards.
• Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related disciplines.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or legal certification are highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, IPO execution, audit, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
