Description
This is a full-time position with our headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Midwest Regional Manager for Sauereisen, you will be responsible for sales, development and customer relationships for our corrosion line of products (coatings, linings, polymer concretes, refractories, mortars, flooring, etc.) in the following states: Western PA, WV, OH, KY, TN, MS, LA, Eastern TX, AR, MO, IN, IL, IA, WI, MI, MN, ND, SD, NE.
Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Develop and maintain business opportunities for our corrosion product lines across your territory.
- Maintain and establish, where needed, a representation/distribution network.
- Maintain existing and expanding new Engineering contacts. Work on educating specifying engineers.
- Service existing end user and contractor relationships by maintaining consistent communication and a regular visitation schedule.
- Execute corrosion market plan by calling on priority accounts identified for new opportunities.
- Answer general corrosion telephone calls for your territory and provide technical support when needed.
Work with other sales and corporate personnel to further company goals.
- Work with the Research Priority Committee on new product opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing personnel and Sales Director on an annual sales and promotional market plan.
- Recommend pricing policy on an annual basis.
- Report on territory sales and objectives on a quarterly basis.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
This position requires strong written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to relay information between relevant parties. Visits to industrial jobsites, the ability to wear PPE and the occasional lifting of product and application equipment will also be necessary. A valid driver’s license is required.
Domestic travel will be required on a monthly basis. Regular office hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. At times you will be required to work outside of regular office hours.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with a focus on corrosion resistant materials or relevant work experience and technical knowledge related to industrial coatings and linings.
