SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and committed Physiotherapist who is skilled in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy and able to take on an existing caseload of clients. We are seeking a practitioner who enjoys working in rooms providing hands-on client treatment and in the studio delivering exercise based therapy. You will also have the ability to teach individuals and small group clinical strength and pilates classes confidently.

As a senior practitioner, you will share responsibility for mentoring our practitioners, assisting in the professional development and performance of team members. You will also assist in business development, and we are keen for you to be a big part in helping shape the future direction and organisation of the business as we transition to a new clinic space in 2024.

You will have completed course work in areas that expand and consolidate your injury management and treatment skills, and have the ability to structure, communicate and deliver an evidence based treatment plan for your clients. The ability to provide running analysis or bike fit cycle assessments would also be highly valued. 

Post Graduate qualifications preferred (or in progress), Clinical Pilates training is essential

WHY THIS POSITION?

Established in 2008, Flex Sports Physiotherapy has a 16 year history of providing high quality healthcare within Melbourne's CBD. We are committed to providing exceptional client care, with an emphasis on forming supportive, enduring relationships, relying on clinical expertise and teamwork to achieve lasting outcomes for our clients. We are a team of ten practitioners and admin staff, and our services comprise sports and spinal physiotherapy, clinical pilates, clinical exercise including strength training, running and cycle analysis, myotherapy and remedial massage.

This is a full time role of 38 - 40 hours per week, however applicants with part time availability will also be considered. Start date is flexible, with a preference for June 2023, however we are willing to work with your availability. 

OUR CLINIC AND TEAM

You will enjoy working with a supportive, collaborative and friendly team of practitioners and admin staff. We have large treatment rooms and a natural light filled, fully equipped pilates and exercise studio allowing you to work with a diverse range of clients. Our treatment philosophy includes 45 minute consultations as standard, giving you time to really listen to your clients, understand their needs and implement a thorough treatment plan. 

Our client base includes busy, motivated professionals as well as recreational and competitive athletes who are invested in their health and keen to see their injuries through to recovery.  We see musculoskeletal and sporting patient groups, with a solid referral network of sports doctors, surgeons and general practitioners. 

Our clinic is open from 7am - 6.15pm Monday - Thursday, and Friday 7am - 3pm. As such, no weekend work is required to ensure your weekends remain time for you.
