About the role
This role within the Origination Platforms & Analytics team offers the opportunity to drive the development of reporting and analytics services for Sales, Origination and Client Engagement across Swiss Re Reinsurance. Our standardized and tailored reporting solutions provide insights into clients, markets, and products.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Acting as product owner for Origination reporting and analytics suite:
- Own the Origination analytics and reporting dashboards end-to-end, driving their roadmap, development, and continuous enhancement, including AI-enabled features where relevant.
- Define reporting frameworks and KPIs aligned with business objectives, identifying opportunities for AI-supported insights and automation.
Serving as data owner and steward for Origination data sets:
- Act as Data Owner for Origination datasets, resolving issues at source, ensuring data quality, consistency, documentation, maintenance, and appropriate access control.
- Serve as Data Steward for assigned data assets, driving robust data governance practices including clear data definitions, lineage transparency, and compliance with internal policies.
Driving adoption and AI enablement:
- Enable scalable, AI-ready reporting solutions and data foundations by developing AI agents and foundations, while ensuring responsible and compliant AI usage across reporting services.
- Promote reporting best practices and data literacy to maximize adoption and business value.
About the team
You will become a part of a hard-working team with very diverse skills and expertise, spread across multiple locations. We are product owners of analytics and dashboards as well as owners of datasets included, therefore we connect and closely collaborate with IT, business departments and external service providers.
About you
You are a strong problem solver with a user-centric mindset. You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences and translate business needs into structured reporting solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in reporting or business intelligence, ideally in a Product Owner or similar role with end-to-end accountability for reporting solutions.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with data and reporting platforms (Power BI, Azure; Palantir is a plus), relational databases (SQL preferred), and 1+ year of experience working with AI technologies (e.g., prompt engineering, agent design, AI-enabled reporting use cases, or RAG).
- 3+ years of experience in data management, including data quality, data governance, and data ownership responsibilities, with an understanding of responsible data usage in AI contexts.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across regions, functions, and seniority levels
- Structured, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and within teams in fast-paced environments to deliver high-quality results
- Proficiency in English; additional languages and Re/Insurance experience are assets
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
