Description

The Analyst will collaborate closely with the Portfolio Manager to manage equity portfolios, focusing on identifying, evaluating, and communicating investment ideas effectively. Key responsibilities include:
1. Identifying new investment opportunities through stock screening, market research, and conferences.
2. Building and maintaining detailed company and industry financial models and valuation screens.
3. Monitoring portfolio stocks and macroeconomic developments, assessing their qualitative and quantitative impact.
4. Conducting regular engagement with company management via site visits, calls, and meetings.
5. Monitoring fund and portfolio performance, reviewing asset allocation, risk, and return diversification.

Requirements

Candidates should possess either an engineering degree with a finance certification (MBA or CFA) or a CA, coupled with 5-8 years of investment research experience. Strong judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a track record of differentiated investment thinking are essential, along with proven proficiency in financial modeling, accounting, and valuation. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and teamwork abilities are required. Candidates without investment research experience need not apply.
