Primary responsibilities include teaching and evaluating students in Building Construction Technology and Construction Management Technology courses with an emphasis in commercial construction. Other responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, curriculum development, professional development, advising students, student recruitment, and participating in assigned departmental, divisional and college committees and activities.
Minimum Requirements Two-year degree or diploma in Building Construction or Construction Management Technology, or related field Minimum of three years relevant field experience in construction Flexibility to meet the needs of all students and department requirements Must support mission, vision, and values of NDSCS Proficient computer skills Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to function in a team environment Willingness to secure ND Career & Technical Education (CTE) certification
Preferred Qualifications Associate degree and/or Bachelor degree in related field Commercial construction experience Concrete construction experience Construction layout experience Construction estimating and scheduling experience Construction field supervision and/or project management experience Knowledge of building systems Teaching or training experience
SALARY:$59,163, commensurate with education and experience
