Description

The Chen Lab at Washington University in St. Louis is seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Associate position to carry out NIH-supported research on inherited photoreceptor diseases caused by genetic mutations. We aim to advance our understanding of these diseases and to develop and translate therapeutic strategies for future clinical practice. The applicant is expected to work on mouse models with a group of highly motivated scientists to employ interdisciplinary approaches such as retinal cell biology, functional genomics, imaging, and biochemistry.

Requirements

The applicant should have a PhD in biological/biomedical sciences, or an MD with experience in biomedical research. Previous experience in vision research is preferred.
