Placer County District Attorney’s Office is currently recruiting for an Information Technology Specialist! The primary duties for this assignment are programming for case management and digital evidence systems, troubleshooting, and analyzing and resolving system/application-related requests including Help Desk, Web, Audio/Video editing, and Court support. The preferred programming languages for this assignment are Groovy, SQL, and Velocity.
This position requires the handling of highly sensitive and confidential information, including but not limited to medical reports, criminal histories, and crime reports involving pending investigations. The incumbent is expected to effectively communicate and interact with deputy district attorneys and law enforcement agencies whose mission is to seek justice for crime victims and those involved in the criminal justice process. All District Attorney’s Office employees must undergo and pass a thorough background check.
The eligible list established as a result of this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies as they arise.
This classification is scheduled to receive general wage increases of 4% in July 2023 and 4% in July 2024.
