The Opportunity

Ally Financial is seeking a Fixed Operations Specialist to join Ally's Fixed Ops team. In this dealer facing role, you will be responsible for managing the profitability of the vehicle service contract business within a geographic territory of assigned dealers. You will be reporting to a Regional Fixed Operations Manager under intermittent supervision applying previous experience to moderately complex tasks.

This position may involve limited travel depending on territory (CT) and assigned dealer needs.

The chosen candidate will have to reside in or be willing to relocate to the territory (CT)

The Work Itself

  • Analyzeassigned accounts to identify loss control opportunities
  • Developand execute tailored action plans to each assigned dealer
  • Maintain a dealer visit cadence appropriate for each accountbased on profitability
  • Handle individual or reconcile multiple claim issuesincluding adjudication of more complex claims
  • Perform documentation reviews to assess sales versussubmission, repair order and used car trends
  • Train employees at assigned accounts on claim and systemprocesses
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers
  • Establish"Hawthorne Effect" via onsite presence
  • Communicate and collaborate regularly with matrix partners
  • Maintain SalesForce documentation to expectations arounddealer activities
  • Participate in additional trainings, educational activities,and regulatory compliance awareness
  • Participatein special projects/assignments

The Skills You Bring

  • HS diploma orequivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 4+years of Automotive industry experience required; prior dealer experiencea plus
  • Possess analytical abilities to breakdown claiminformation into trends
  • Prior Ally systems experience preferred
  • Ally product knowledge preferred
  • Above average computer and technical skills
  • Proficientknowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Proficiencyin Power BI preferred
