Position: Senior Associate
Location: Remote, based in the United States
Reports to: Founding Partner
Classification: Full-time, exempt
Term: Permanent, no set end date
Target start date: March 9, 2026
Senior Associate Overview:
A Senior Associate will support Rising Blue clients through accurate and timely data processing, preparing client deliverables and processing expenses and contributions, along with other support duties. This role is not entry level, and requires prior experience in campaign finance or finance, with at least one cycle of experience.
Senior Associate Responsibilities:
- Prioritization of tasks, calendar tracking, and other administrative responsibilities, including client filing calendars.
- Process campaign contributions into compliance and accounting databases.
- Screen for and address any compliance issues with campaign contributions.
- Prepare weekly client deliverables, such as the cash-on-hand report and other reporting metrics, for review by senior staff.
- Assist senior members of the team with monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
- Process client expenses and contributions for payment and deposit into the bank account.
- Correspond with vendors and donors on client’s behalf.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Collect and maintain client data and assist in creating financial reports and bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Assist in preparing and filing campaign finance reports on behalf of clients, along with responding to RFAIs and additional campaign finance inquiries.
- Research campaign finance regulations at the state and federal level to assist in advising clients on best practices and decisions. Present research findings in memo format for senior staff and company distribution.
- Collaborate with, and manage, team members to provide consistent high level service to clients and maintain their data.
Senior Associate Compensation:
- Salary: $60,000 - 70,000 annually

Senior Associate Qualifications:
- High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. The ideal candidate has 4 or more years of compliance, finance, or campaign experience and is proficient in navigating Google Suite.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets. Familiarity with NGP/EveryAction software. Familiarity with online search engines. The ideal candidate can understand and apply functions in these tools to specific and unique campaign finance situations based on the needs of each client.
- Prior experience with candidate committees, or experience on a campaign finance team, is preferred.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of campaign finance regulations across various jurisdictions and committees. The Ideal candidate is able to respond to complex compliance issues and offer expert guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to take direction, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency working with large data sets.
- Finds enjoyment troubleshooting issues and finding solutions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Organized and efficient.
- Familiar with federal, state, and local campaign finance regulations and knows how to apply them.
