Our client a technology driven quantitative trading firm are looking for a versatile Compliance Generalist with experience of regulated trading activity to help strengthen their governance framework on an interim basis (12 months).

You'll join a small, high impact team and take ownership of a broad range of responsibilities, from monitoring trading activity to assisting with regulatory filings to partnering with researchers and engineers on new initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys solving complex problems.

What You'll Do

• • Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of the firm's compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly trade and communication surveillance; investigate and escalate as necessary.
  • Support the onboarding and ongoing due diligence of trading venues, brokers, and counterparties.
  • Prepare and track regulatory filings, registrations, and renewals across global jurisdictions.
  • Partner with trading, research, operations, and technology teams on new products, strategies, and workflows to ensure compliance considerations are embedded early.
  • Maintain internal records, documentation, and compliance systems with a high level of accuracy.
  • Contribute to internal compliance training and awareness initiatives.
  • Stay current on relevant regulatory developments and help assess their impact on the firm.

What We're Looking For

• • Experience in compliance or a related function within a trading firm, investment manager, broker-dealer, or regulator. Exposure to applicable regulation (e.g MIFID, MAR).
  • Strong understanding of markets and trading concepts; experience with electronic or algorithmic trading is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, high growth environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset.
  • Comfort working with data and technology; experience with compliance systems or SQL/Python is a bonus but not required.
