Overview

We are seeking an experienced and organized Assistant Golf Professional to work side by side with the Head Golf Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the operations of golf shop, inventory, supervising of staff, teaching programs and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

Experience Required

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, friendly, outgoing, and responsible. The ideal candidate would have basic knowledge of golf and prior experience working with the public or customer service is helpful. Candidate must be able to learn our point-of-sale system (ActiveNet), G1 Reservation system.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Assist with inventory levels, monthly inventory count and display golf shop merchandise.
• Collaborate with Head Professional and implement sales strategies to help golf shop sales.
• Assist with golf shop operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS systems.
• Assist with scheduling golf clinics, Jr. camps. PGA Jr League practices and matches.
• Provide private lessons, Adult clinics, Jr. Camps and captain a PGA Jr league team.
• Manage Men's and/ or SGC Ladies Golf Leagues.
• Manage Golf Simulators during winter months.
• Utilize and manage Uschedule for lesson and simulator schedule.
• Manage the operation when the Head Professional and General Manager are not on site.
