Club Overview Crow Valley Golf Club is seeking to add one full-time Assistant Golf Professional to its experienced and highly regarded professional staff. Founded in 1969 and nestled in the heart of the Quad Cities, Crow Valley Golf Club has long been recognized as one of the region's premier private clubs. The club features a championship 18-hole golf course, refined amenities, and a reputation for uncompromising service standards. Crow Valley continues to elevate the private-club experience, serving as both a retreat for its members and a benchmark for excellence in golf operations and hospitality. This is evident by our $7.5mm renovation we are currently undergoing. Phase 1 has begun inside the clubhouse and will be completed by the time we are ready to kick off the golf season. Phase 1 of the golf course renovation will take place as we wind down the golf season in the fall of 2026.

The club has proudly hosted several high-profile championships, including the Iowa Golf Association Amateur Championship in 2022 and a U.S. Open Qualifying Round in 2024-demonstrating the quality of both the golf course and its operations. During the offseason, members enjoy access to two indoor golf simulators powered by TrackMan technology, with both bays currently being upgraded to the TrackMan iO platform.TrackMan 4 is also utilized for outdoor fittings and instruction.

Crow Valley is equally renowned for its culinary program. Members consistently regard the club as offering the finest dining experience in the Quad Cities. Our award-winning Executive Chef delivers elevated fine dining while also excelling in casual service and large-scale private events.

Community & Location Crow Valley Golf Club is located in Davenport, Iowa, an integral part of the Quad Cities metropolitan area spanning Iowa and Illinois along the Mississippi River. The region benefits from a strong and diverse economy supported by manufacturing, healthcare, education, and technology, with major employers such as John Deere headquartered nearby. The Quad Cities are known for their affordability, scenic riverfront, culturalinstitutions, festivals, and excellent school districts, making the area an attractive place to live and work.

Golf Operation Overview

• 18-hole private championship golf course
• Approximately 17,000 rounds annually
• Fleet of 30 Yamaha electric carts, 10 Yamaha gas carts, and approximately 150 privately owned carts
• Approximately 30 member tournaments annually (Men's, Ladies', and Junior events)
• 7-9 corporate outings annually (Mondays)
• Staff oversight of 2 Golf Shop associates and approximately 15 Outside Services personnel
• Annual Golf Shop sales of approximately $400,000

Experience Required

• Minimum of one year of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional, preferably at a high-service private club
• PGA Class A Professional or actively enrolled as a PGA Associate
• Working knowledge of Golf Genius
• Experience with Club Essentials or a comparable POS system
• Strong computer proficiency
• Professional appearance and presentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong passion for the game of golf

Essential Responsibilities

The Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the Head Golf Professional, First Assistant Golf Professional, and Director of Instruction in all areas of golf operations, including but not limited to:

• Planning and execution of member tournaments and events
• Instruction, player development, and club fitting
• Weekly events and daily golf operations
• Merchandising and retail operations
• Leadership and supervision of additional professional staff members
• Delivering exceptional member relations and service experiences
• Maintaining high standards of organization, professionalism, and attention to detail

PGA Class A Professionals in good standing or candidates actively enrolled in a PGAProgram (PGM or Apprenticeship) are preferred.

Crow Valley Golf Club is firmly committed to promoting a healthy work-life balance. The position typically consists of 30-40 hours per week in the Golf Shop, with up to 10 additional hours dedicated to instruction, club fitting, tournament preparation, and member play.
