Overview

Moon Valley Country Club is seeking an Assistant Professional to join our team. This Full-Time position offers an excellent opportunity to help create memorable and unique experiences for the members of the club. The Assistant Professional will work alongside other members of the Golf Staff inside the Golf Shop and help contribute to the overall culture of the club.

Overview

• The Assistant Professional will assist the Golf Staff in day-to-day aspects of the golf operation. This includes Golf Shop Sales and Special Orders, managing the POS System and Tee Sheet, monitoring the 1 st Tee and Pace of Play, and Shop upkeep.
• They must be able to work with a team and deliver exceptional customer service to all members and guests. Communication is a priority as we strive to offer our membership unique experiences that align with the culture of the club.
• The Assistant Professional will assist the Tournament Director in designing, organizing, and executing all Golf Outings and Tournaments
• The Assistant Professional will assist the Head Professional within the retail space of the shop through engaging with customers, marketing new products, designing the Golf Shop layout, and advertising sales and promotions
• The Assistant Professional will assist the Director of Golf and Head Professional in monitoring on course cart usage, practice facility etiquette and behavior, and Performance Center usage
• The Candidate must be proficient in Golf Genius, Microsoft Office, and POS Systems
• The Candidate will have Teaching opportunities with the members at Moon Valley
• It is preferred that the Candidate is a Class A PGA Professional or in the PGM Program, however, it is not required
