Position Purpose: Support the Area Director of Revenue Management by overseeing the reservations department and assisting with revenue strategies to maximize hotel performance.
Career Path: Assistant Revenue & Reservations Manager → Revenue Manager → Director of Revenue Management

Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Reservations Management
- Supervise, train, and develop the reservations team.
- Monitor call volume, quality assurance, and checklist compliance.
- Manage group blocks, enforce cut-off dates, and coordinate with sales.
- Oversee airline crew reservations and billing audits.
- Approve weekly commission processing and manage department incentives.
Revenue Strategy
- Monitor and optimize daily hotel inventory and pricing strategies.
- Communicate rate restrictions and sales strategies to teams.
- Assist with rate programs, packages, and special event booking procedures.
- Publish weekly operations forecast and support monthly forecasting.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with sales and front office to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Attend planning meetings and prepare required reports.
Qualifications
Skills
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of hotel systems (PMS, CRS, GDS, Channel Manager).
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Experience
- Experience in reservations or hotel systems.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Hyatt systems and IDeaS knowledge a plus.
