Description
Benn & Barr Law is seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other counsel within the practice while maintaining responsibility for their own caseload and managing all aspects of their clients’ matters from start to finish, working alongside the available Family Law paralegal to support case preparation and client services.
Practice Areas:
The firm’s practice includes estate, media, corporate, litigation, employment, and family law.
Responsibilities
-Manage a full caseload and deadlines
-Represent clients in complex family law litigation
-Handle family law matters including divorce, custody, support, property division, and prenuptial agreements, PFA, etc.
-Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence
-Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis
-Maintain attention to detail and accuracy
-Foster collaboration, excellence, and professionalism within the firm
-Develop and maintain strong client relationships
-Manage time effectively; plan and organize efficiently
-Demonstrate emotional maturity, judgment, and accountability
-Deliver high-quality legal services from intake through resolution
-Maintain strong client relationships
-Uphold professionalism, collaboration, and excellence
Requirements
JD from an accredited law school
Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar; member in good standing (required)
Proficiency in LexisNexis
Exceptional research, advocacy, and analytical skills
Strong leadership and case management skills
Superior verbal and written communication skills
