About the Role

As an L&H Reporting Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our financial reporting processes, supporting the consolidated regional results with a focus on Asia under IFRS 17/IFRS 9 valuation. You'll leverage your analytical prowess to uncover and explain business performance drivers, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on consolidated regional results with a focus on Asian markets under IFRS 17/IFRS 9 valuation frameworks
• Conduct detailed variance analysis to explain business performance drivers of the L&H business
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Present results to Business Unit leaders and senior stakeholders within Finance Teams
• Support the technical closing process as part of our globally consistent approach
• Enhance analytics and reporting deliverables through continuous improvement initiatives
• Handle complex and confidential information appropriately while maintaining awareness of risks
• Execute controls as designed and contribute to process improvements

About the Team

L&H Finance is undertaking the next step in the evolution of how we deliver services to our stakeholders. This includes moving towards more globally consistent processes and increasing the centralisation of teams - notably strengthening the L&H Finance hub in Bangalore. This team will take on end to end responsibility of technical closing and also enhance our analytics and reporting deliverables.

About You

You're a self-motivated professional with strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills. You thrive under pressure, meet deadlines consistently, and can adapt to changing business requirements. Your ability to challenge non-standard processes and strive for efficient solutions makes you an ideal candidate for this role.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com/BBA/CA/CFA/FRM or MBA in Finance)
• 1-2 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Financial Reporting and Analysis, or FP&A
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Proficient IT skills, particularly in financial reporting tools

These are additional nice to haves:

• Prior experience in the Insurance Industry
• Understanding of L&H value chain
• Experience with IFRS 17/IFRS 9 reporting frameworks
• Project management experience
• Presentation skills to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per wee
