Overview

Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club is seeking a motivated and service‑driven Associate Golf Professional to join its golf operations team. This role supports daily golf shop functions, provides exceptional member and guest service, assists with tournaments and programming, and helps promote a premier golf experience at one of Arizona's top facilities. Annual compensation: $43k - $48k DOE and qualifications.

Experience Required

Assists in administering all daily operations including, but not limited to facilitating sales, assisting with merchandise, operating POS system, managing handicap and tee sheet applications, acts as ranger, starter, guest relations, outside service or golf shop shifts. Responsibilities include managing point of sales application, coordinating with Accounting Departments, reconciling tee sheets, monitoring member scores, and assisting in staff training and performance evaluation. Must hold current PGA/LGPA Membership, with PGA level 2 or higher preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

Assists in administering all point of sales application revisions, coordinates with Accounting Departments, reconciles tee sheets, resolves discrepancies, initiates club golf activities, creates lesson plans, maintains a clean golf shop, prepares for golf outings, monitors scores, assists Manager with staff management, ensures effective training for new associates, monitors business volume, and conducts staff meetings. Incorporates safe work practices and ensures regular attendance.
