Major Duties:

• Acts as first point of reference for day-to-day queries, and serves as a liaison to related areas
• Carries out relatively complex, extensive, high profile activities e.g. direct interaction with committees and more senior management
• Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
• Focuses on maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures in the function, building towards becoming an area expert.
• May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
• May lead projects and/or train lower level staff.
• Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
• May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role)
• More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas
• Delivers a work product that requires less revision
• Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions

Knowledge:

• Excellent analytical, consultative, communication and judgment skills are required
• In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge in chosen field required plus strong knowledge of related areas
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change
• Must have good project management and communication skills and have strong working knowledge of the firm, the industry and technology.

Experience:

• A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience preferred. Five or more years of related business experience.
