This role is not available for sponsorship, including I-983 participation. This role is Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) out of our West Hills, CA office.
The primary responsibility of the Analyst, Retirement (401k), Wellbeing & Recognition is executing the day-to-day administration of Pharmavite's retirement program, including funding company 401(k) matches, responding to employee inquiries, conducting weekly file audits, NDT and 5500 compliance testing, and leading educational campaigns to ensure participation and compliance. This role also supports the company-wide wellness and reward & recognition programs, including managing vendor execution, running utilization reports, tracking quarterly program metrics, and integrating these initiatives with the overall benefits strategy. The Analyst provides analysis and reporting to client groups, holds vendors accountable for program administration, and builds relationships across Pharmavite locations to identify opportunities to engage employees. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Wellbeing & Recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer all aspects of company retirement program, including partnering with retirement plan administrator (Empower), and other day-to-day operations to administer the retirement program (audits, compliance, employee inquiries, 5500 audits, etc.) and promoting education initiatives to drive a strong participation in Pharmavite’s retirement program.
- Support the employee reward and recognition program across Pharmavite and the specialty brands, creating reports for client groups, tracking engagement, utilization, and budget.
- Manage reward and recognition vendor execution day-to-day and facilitate reward processing.
- Assist in the development, and implementation of wellness initiatives to promote employee health and well-being, including onsite events, programs, screenings, vaccine clinics, and challenges, while also managing the wellness website, and supporting wellness committees at various locations.
- Build relationships and collaborate with different Pharmavite locations through onsite visits to help identify opportunities to best engage with varying employee groups.
- Help to administer, educate, and track participation for benefit incentives and outcomes for future focus areas.
- Help develop and edit related employee communications and educational content through multiple mediums including (e-mail, posters, digital displays, home mailers, etc.).
- Analyze aggregate metric data to track engagement and utilization and identify population health performance and trends for the development of future program initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate has:
Prior experience administering retirement plans and other HR programs. You are analytical, curious and self-directed.
Critical Success Factors:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience administering 401(k) retirement plans (required).
- 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources or a similar corporate function.
- Hands-on experience administering or supporting employee programs such as recognition, wellness, or other ancillary benefit programs.
- Strong analytical skills with Excel (e.g., data analysis, reporting, tracking participation).
- A people-focused mindset and a genuine enjoyment of interacting with employees to drive awareness, engagement, and participation in retirement, wellness, recognition, and related programs.
Requirements
Capabilities & Skills Required:
In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:
- Experience with administering 401(K) retirement programs.
- Analytical experience, strong skills with Excel, running reporting and able to produce PowerPoint presentations based on findings.
- Knowledge of the health and wellness marketplace and employer trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills including composing company communications, developing and conducting presentations, assisting with program design, and interfacing with a diverse group of internal staff/management and external vendors and community resources.
- Excellent organizational, project management, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and work independently to initiate group activities.
- Self-motivation; works well independently and in a collaborative, team environment.
- Ability to be detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong computer skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Canva a plus.
- Previous experience with Workday.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
