Work Arrangement: Full-time, hybrid position. We’re looking for talented professionals located in Tampa, Atlanta or Charlotte to join our team.

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be a key player in shaping and executing initiatives that elevate our brand, engage our clients, and expand our market presence. You will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your creativity and entrepreneurial spirit are highly valued. This position reports to the Firm’s Sr. Director of Business Development as part of the Marketing & Business Development (MBD) team and will provide direct support to several practice groups and industry teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Shape and manage the marketing and business development roadmap for assigned practice groups and industry teams in partnership with our respective Practice and Industry Co-Chairs, ensuring alignment with the firm’s vision and strategic goals.
- Champion client relationships and new business growth by making bold, strategic recommendations and owning the process to implement targeted, measurable marketing initiatives that support our annual business objectives.
- Develop, oversee, and optimize marketing and business development budgets and business plans, ensuring every dollar drives maximum impact and value.
- Conduct insightful research on clients, prospects, industries, competitors, and market trends to inform business development and branding strategies that keep us ahead of the curve.
- Lead, create, and execute memorable client events for assigned industries, ensuring meaningful follow-up and sustained engagement that strengthens relationships.
- Partner with our attorneys to create, implement, and track personalized marketing plans that drive growth and business development.
- Identify, nurture, and expand partnerships with key associations and organizations, driving brand recognition and unlocking new client development opportunities.
- Support the development of visually compelling and persuasive presentations that elevate our messaging and resonate with our audiences.
- Design, execute, and evaluate innovative marketing and social media campaigns, in collaboration with our firmwide marketing team, to maximize our reach and impact.
- Be a proactive force in the firm’s business development and marketing efforts, collaborating across teams, sharing fresh ideas, and contributing to our collective success.

- Strategic Business Development Expertise: Mastery in business planning, market research, and crafting compelling pitches and RFPs that win new business.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communicator, able to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences.
- Client-Centric Approach: A passion for delivering top-tier client service with a positive, professional demeanor that fosters trust and long-term relationships.
- Analytical and Leadership Excellence: Sharp analytical skills paired with a natural ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Marketing Technology Savvy: Proficient in utilizing cutting-edge marketing technologies, including CRM tools, to drive engagement and growth.
- Master Multitasker: Skilled at managing multiple priorities and deadlines, with a knack for staying organized and focused in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- At least ten years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services organization.
- A bachelor's or advanced degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field or law.
- Travel required to various meetings and conferences.
