Chan Family Optometry is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Associate Doctor of Optometry to join our well-established, growing team in Grass Valley, California. Established in 1978, Chan Family Optometry is a thriving, family-owned optometric practice located in the historic town of Grass Valley, nestled in Northern California’s scenic Sierra Nevada Foothills. For over four decades, we have proudly served Nevada County, offering full-scope optometric care with a focus on ocular disease management, low vision rehabilitation, and contact lenses. Our team is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a welcoming environment.
Our facility is outfitted with cutting-edge technology, including Optos, OCT, TearLab, Humphrey visual field, Oculus Keratograph, iCare tonometry, and OptiLight IPL. We utilize cloud-based EMR for efficient, flexible charting. The practice features an in-office lab for same-day lenses and a modern optical boutique carrying top eyewear brands.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages and visual/medical diagnoses
Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and visual conditions
Fit and evaluate contact lenses, including specialty lenses
Collaborate with a multi-doctor team to provide excellent continuity of care
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members
Maintain accurate records using cloud-based EHR
Qualifications:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
Active California Optometry License
Glaucoma Certification required
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Team-oriented, friendly, and dependable
