Job Description

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements within the financial services sector.
• Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders, experience with ISDA negotiations is highly preferred.
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor and review regulatory changes and advise on their impact.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with various departments to address compliance and legal issues.
• Handle queries related to legal and compliance matters effectively.
• Support the Risk & Compliance department with administrative tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Compliance and Legal Officer should have:

• A degree in Law and min 5 years of relevant professional experience in the banking or financial sector, or in a legal or regulatory function
• Knowledge of regulations within the financial services industry.
• Experience in compliance and risk management processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Based in Singapore.
