Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000/yr
The Opportunity
Mawer Investment Management is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter passionate about investment excellence who thrives in a highly collaborative, high-performing team environment to join our global Research team. Essential to the equity analyst role is an ability and willingness to meaningfully enhance our research process, strengthen our culture, and help build Mawer into one of the best global investment management firms.
Role Responsibilities
- Identifying investment opportunities in collaboration with the Research team
- Conducting in-depth company analysis across multiple industries as a generalist investor
- Gathering and analyzing information from multiple sources and timeframes
- Building discounted cash flow models and evaluating what a business could be worth under different scenarios
- Examining multiple-order risks at the company and portfolio level
Requirements
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in analyzing companies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline
- Keen interest in and demonstrated understanding of the investment analysis of companies
- A strong work ethic and a proven ability to consistently deliver excellence and high-quality meaningful outcomes
- CFA qualifications or a willingness to enroll in the program
