Description
The Finance Fellow at Break Blue Strategies will support the financial, fundraising, and operational infrastructure of political and advocacy campaigns. Fellows will work closely with Call Time Managers, campaign staff, and executive leadership to support fundraising systems, donor data management, event operations, and financial reporting.
This is a paid, stipend-based fellowship designed to provide hands-on experience, professional development, and mentorship in the fields of political finance for undergraduate students.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Assist Call Time Managers with donor data entry and database maintenance
-Input and clean call time data, contact records, and donor profiles
-Support call time tracking, reporting, and follow-up systems
-Maintain accurate fundraising records and contact logs
-Help prepare daily and weekly call time reports
-Enter and maintain financial and donor data across internal systems
-Support compliance tracking and documentation
-Assist with donor list building and segmentation
-Support reporting for fundraising goals and benchmarks
-Help organize financial documentation and the digital filing system
WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Assist with planning and logistics for fundraising events
-Support event data tracking (RSVPs, attendance, follow-ups, donor engagement)
-Manage event-related data entry and reporting
-Compile weekly fundraising and call time reports
-Support planning and execution of fundraising events
-Track weekly fundraising benchmarks and progress
METRICS
This is a part-time position with a monthly stipend of $1,000, 10-15 hours per week, depending on need.
