Description
Senior Financial Adviser – Ringwood
This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Financial Adviser to step into a well-established, self-licensed financial planning business and take over an existing portfolio of clients from a retiring Adviser.
With a structured 12-month handover, you will be given the time, support and client exposure needed to build trust and ensure continuity, rather than being expected to win relationships from scratch. The focus of this role is firmly on servicing and strengthening existing client relationships, not sales.
The client base is established and engaged, with an average of approximately $1 million in funds under advice. It is a high-quality portfolio built on long-term relationships, consistent advice and a strong reputation in the local market.
The business operates under its own licence, providing greater flexibility, control and a clear commitment to delivering advice in clients’ best interests. Advice is holistic, tailored and ongoing, with a strong emphasis on quality and long-term outcomes.
You will be responsible for
Managing and developing an existing portfolio of clients, maintaining strong, long-term relationships
Leading client meetings focused on understanding goals, priorities and evolving circumstances
Delivering tailored strategies across superannuation, retirement planning, investments and personal risk
Providing ongoing advice and review services to ensure strategies remain aligned over time
Managing the transition of client relationships during the 12-month handover period
Working closely with internal team members to ensure a consistent and high-quality client experience
Maintaining compliance and documentation standards in line with a self-licensed environment
What you will bring
Experience operating as a Financial Adviser with the ability to manage an existing client base
Strong technical capability across core advice areas including superannuation, investments and retirement planning
Confidence in building trusted client relationships and guiding long-term financial decisions
A client-first mindset, with a genuine focus on servicing rather than sales
A professional and disciplined approach to compliance and advice delivery
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex strategies clearly
This role will suit an Adviser who values stability, quality and meaningful client relationships. With an existing portfolio, a clear transition plan and a supportive, self-licensed environment, it offers the opportunity to focus on delivering high-quality advice without the pressure of constant business development.
Based in Ringwood, the business offers a professional and collaborative environment with a strong reputation and a long-standing client base.
If you are looking for a role where you can take ownership of a quality client base and focus on delivering thoughtful, long-term advice, this is a compelling next step.
