General Ophthalmologist

Summa Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible ophthalmologist to join our employed physician group. Our recruitment priority is a General/Comprehensive provider. The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of 400+ physicians employed by the Summa Health System. At Summa Health, we offer high quality ophthalmic medical and surgical care to meet the community’s needs. We pride ourselves on offering comprehensive care, but in an intimate and personalized setting.

Schedule:
- Ophthalmology Clinic – 75 Arch Street, Akron, OH
- Outpatient Clinic Hours 8:30am to 5:00pm
o 30 to 35 patients a day
o No call
o Surgery days are 1 to 2 times/week (Thursdays are blocked surgery days)
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
- Unrestricted Ohio License or willingness to obtain
- Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment
