The Club at Cress Creek is seeking a General Manager & Head Golf Professional.
The Club is a private facility located in historic Shepherdstown WV and featuring an 18 hole golf course, pool, indoor tennis courts and full service bar/restaurant. More info can be found at www.cresscreek.com.

The General Manager & Head Golf Professional will be tasked with overseeing the entire club operation including Golf, Food & Beverage, Golf Course and Facilities Management, Pool and Raquet Sports. Please inquire for additional details on the Job Description.

Experience Required

• Experience managing golf tournaments and events
• Interaction with members / customer service skills
• Golf Instruction
• Purchasing of merchandise and management of pro shop inventory
• Club management (preferred)
• Club management software experience

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the Golf operation
• Provide Members with the best possible club experience
• Give lessons to Members
• Manage golf tournaments to include member-focused tournaments and revenue-generating golf outings for corporate partners and nonprofit organizations.  
• Coordinate food & beverage for tournaments with F&B operational staff.
• Monitor Golf Cart Fleet to assure good working order and maintenance, coordinating with Club Superintendent and Maintenance Staff and to monitor useage and rotation of carts.
• Manage Golf staff - scheduling, etc.
• Manage Club staff - overseeing all aspects of Club operations
• Report to Ownership Group regarding Club operations, manage F&B, special events, etc.
