OverviewInternship Opportunity - Golf OperationsDetroit Country Club | Summer/Fall 2026
Detroit Country Club is excited to invite motivated and passionate students to apply for Golf Operations Internship opportunities for the Summer/Fall 2026 season . Located in northern Minnesota , Detroit Country Club is a 36-hole public facility with approximately 800 season pass holders and an annual average of 50,000 rounds of golf , including numerous member and outside events.
Our facility features two courses:
- Pine to Palm Course - Par 71
- Lakeview Course - Par 64
In addition, we offer two clubhouses , a full practice facility , and an on-site restaurant . Our golf operations team is led by two PGA Professionals who are committed to mentoring interns and providing hands-on experience in all aspects of the golf business.
Detroit Country Club is also home to one of the largest amateur men's golf tournaments in the United States-the Pine to Palm Tournament -a prestigious week-long, 525-player match-play event .

Will also be attending the 2026 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL and available for interviews during that time. Additionally full-time employment opportunity following internship.

Experience Required
Qualifications & Standards
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the golf industry
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of golf operations and industry terminology
- Currently pursuing a degree in Sport Management or Professional Golf Management
Essential Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
- Daily golf operations
- Tee sheet management
- Club repair services
- Tournament and event management
- Assisting with the Junior Golf Program (300+ participants)

- $20 per hour (approximately 40 hours per week)
