OverviewTable Mountain Rancheria in Friant, California is currently seeking a Head Golf Professional for Eagle Springs Golf and Country Club. Job Summary:
This job is responsible for supervising Golf Pro Shop operations. This position strives to provide excellent services and programs to all patrons.
Experience Required
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- PGA Professional Golf Management Program Level 1 & 2
- Five (5)+ years Golf Industry experience
- Class "A" PGA/LPGA Professional in Good Standing
Other Requirements
- California Class C Drivers license
- Must have a clean driving record that is acceptable to Table Mountain Rancheria's insurer
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of documents and records
Essential Responsibilities
The following is a list of essential duties and responsibilities for this position. It is not all-inclusive, other duties and responsibilities may be added as needed and management may modify this job description when appropriate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the rental and maintenance of golf carts
- Assists in the management and operation of the golf course and ensures the course and facilities are ready for customer use on a day-to-day basis
- Tracks and verifies the check-in of players and guests, golf cart usage, customer club care and lockers, member handicap fees, and other charges necessary, and facilitates proper controls
- Maintains inventory of new and resale Pro Shop merchandise items
- Enforces all rules and regulations governing golf course usage
- Assists in marketing and promoting new Golf Memberships
- Establishes sales goals and forecasts for all golf programs and analyzes merchandise reports to increase sales growth
- Oversees the reservation system used to check-in guests and the starting and monitoring of play
- Develops and manages the tournament program that services all customer segments and assists in managing tournaments
- Provides excellent customer services, professional advice, and assistance to all patrons
- Keeps display areas stocked and clean, sells merchandise, conducts daily business, and accounts for cash at the register in the Pro Shop
- Assists in the planning and budgeting for golf operations

Supervisory Responsibilities
Carry out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Physical/Mental Conditions:
The physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. They will be required drive motorized vehicles for long and short periods of time. The employee may have to lift objects greater than ten pounds. This person will experience repetitive motion when counting money and using a keyboard.
Work Environment
The employee will be exposed to inside and outside climate conditions. The employee may be required to golf with patrons and be exposed to rain, heat and cold temperatures.
