Hematology and Oncology Locums Physician in Michigan - 2 Weeks per Month

Block-scheduled HemOnc assignment in Michigan with low call burden and outpatient focus.

Highlights

• Block scheduling; work 2 consecutive weeks per month
• Call is 1:2 but low volume; phone only
• Ongoing need with supportive team
• Credentialing in 60 days

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based practice with outpatient focus (95% OP / 5% IP)
• Accredited cancer program with weekly tumor board
• 1 MD and 3 APPs in a collegial group
• Onsite genetic counselor and research associate

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8a-5p during assignment weeks
• Night and weekend call included, but minimal volume
• Phone call only; 15-minute response time required

Cases and Procedures

• Full-scope Hematology and Oncology
• 10-15 patients/day; 60-minute new visits, 30-minute follow-ups
• No inpatient inductions performed

Requirements

• Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
• Active Michigan license
• BLS and ACLS required

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
