- Junior/New Graduate Physiotherapist
Description
We need an enthusiastic and dedicated junior physiotherapist to join our team, so send through your resume and tell me what you want from your workplace! If you're a newly graduated physiotherapist wanting to eventually work in musculoskeletal or sports physiotherapy, don't waste time losing vital skills in a hospital job! We want you now and with the right support and mentoring the sooner you start the better :)
We are looking to fill a position as soon as possible as we have staff on leave in 2026. The caseload is mixed with musculoskeletal, clinical Pilates and exercise rehabilitation classes. We are extremely flexible with days and shift times and should have the capacity to provide the type of roster that best suits you.
We strive to provide the highest quality of care and understand that this takes time! Our senior staff have 45 minute initial and 30 minute subsequent appointments but we start junior physiotherapists with as much time as needed. There is a substantial mentoring package for the first year, with paid weekly professional development, including observation of senior staff, case discussions and structured learning covering assessment and treatment of all major areas.
At Perth Hills Physio we seriously value work/life balance and flexibility and allow our staff to take extra unpaid leave in addition to their 4 weeks of paid annual leave. This allows us time to pursue our own sporting and leisure activities and spend time with our families. We also encourage our patients to really look after themselves and attend appointments during the week - the practice is not open on weekends, as we value our physiotherapist’s need for a proper weekend!
Our physiotherapists are hired as permanent employees, with remuneration based on experience (commission incentives for experienced physiotherapists). Leave entitlements and superannuation are paid as detailed in the Health Professionals and Support Services Award.
