All about the role

In this role, you will lead the marketing and customer analytics strategy for Lieferando, our German market. You will focus on uncovering high-impact opportunities by analyzing campaign performance, customer behavior, and marketing mix models to optimize multi-million euro budgets. Your insights will directly shape how we maintain our market leadership and engage with millions of customers.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role

• Lead Analytics Strategy: Shape the roadmap for Germany's marketing analytics, creating data products that translate business needs into actionable solutions.
• Technical Execution: Monitor customer dynamics and campaign impact using SQL, Python, and advanced analytics to guide "test and learn" marketing strategies.
• Stakeholder Influence: Present complex data insights and strategic recommendations to senior management to drive budget optimization and business growth.
• Mentorship: Act as a technical lead, coaching and mentoring other data professionals to cultivate a high-performing, agile environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global and local teams to design metrics and build reporting suites using Tableau and Google BigQuery.

What will you bring to the table?

• Proven Analytics Expertise: Demonstrated experience in e-commerce, platform, or consulting environments, with a track record of delivering recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Marketing Domain Mastery: Significant experience in marketing analytics and measurement; familiarity with marketing mix modeling or attribution is highly preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis, alongside expertise in visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strategic Problem Solving: Proven ability to translate ambiguous business questions into technical data roadmaps and persuasive, data-driven narratives.
• Advanced Methodology: Practical experience applying causal inference or regression analysis to business problems, paired with professional fluency in English.
