Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on derivatives, structured products, commodities, precious metals and various other financial products;
• Draft, negotiate and review various triparty, securities, derivatives and repo documentation and agreements, including ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA; experience in onshore derivatives, initial margin negotiation and OTC clearing is a plus;
• Work closely with front offices, compliance and other risk management functions and deliver practical solutions aligned with business objectives;
• Keep abreast of legal and regulatory developments; and
• Liaise and work with external legal counsel to provide legal advisory services.

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with 8 years' of PQE or more at a top tier law firm in this field; in-house legal experience at leading financial services institutions is highly beneficial;
• Strong technical knowledge and experience, solid client service skills;
• Good team player with first rate analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and proactive;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
