Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced practitioner with a true passion for massage therapy to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques to provide effective pain management and enhance overall patient wellness. We offer the following modalities, but we do not expect candidates to be proficient in all techniques from the start:

• Swedish & Therapeutic Massage
• Deep Tissue 
• Prenatal Massage
• Myofascial Release
• Lymphatic Drainage (Manual & Assisted)
• TMJ Massage
• Sinus Massage
• Hot & Cold Stone Massage
• Cupping
• Sports Massage
• Aromatherapy
• Reflexology

Pay Scale (Two Options)

Option 1

1099 Contractor

• 50% Commission based on total revenue
• Gratuity from clients is encouraged but not guaranteed

1099 Contractor Benefits

• Monthly treatment credits after 30 days
• Employee (and family) discount on treatments & products

Option 2

W2 Employee

• Hourly pay for the first 30 days (amount is based on experience, with the minimum being $20/hr)
• Shift to 40% Commission after 30 days.
• Gratuity from clients is encouraged but not guaranteed

W2 Employee Benefits

• Monthly treatment credits after 30 days
• Optional 401K (Matching after 12 months)
• Paid Vacation (after 12 months, only if sales goals are consistently met)
• Optional Aflac GAP insurance enrollment after 60 days

LMT Position Responsibilities

• Individual Marketing - via social media, community events, networking with other businesses, and other relevant avenues.
• Be at the spa a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your first appointment of the day
• Meet monthly sales goals
• Downtime spent perfecting your craft and contributing to overall spa upkeep (laundry, stocking essentials, and cleaning your treatment room adequately).
• Conduct thorough client consultations to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain SOAP notes and perform weekly follow-up calls.
• Perform various massage techniques with proficiency and passion.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Sell products, packages, and monthly memberships, as well as encourage clients to rebook.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and demonstrate proper at-home stretches to enhance the benefits of each client's treatment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns or questions.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques through required continuing education hours.

Requirements

LMT Position Requirements

• Availability on Mondays & Select Holidays (Valentine's Day Weekend (open on that Sunday due to increased business), Mother's Day Sunday, Black Friday, & Small Business Saturday)
• Valid GA state license in massage therapy.
• Proof of Certification in certain specialty treatments
• Individual Liability Insurance (1,000,000 per occurrence/ 2,000,000 aggregate)
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assess needs effectively.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Ability to market yourself to boost your own clientele.
