Overview:

Houston Law Firm seeking an experienced commercial litigation/trial attorney for our Houston office.  

Duties: 

• Lead and manage civil litigation cases primarily in state court (occasional federal practice).
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and discovery materials with precision and clarity.
• Negotiate settlements where needed - otherwise prepare case for trial.
• Represent clients confidently and aggressively in court proceedings and advocate for their best interests.
• Collaborate with litigation team members.

Requirements: 

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a well regarded accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.  
• Texas litigation experience. 
• Proficiency with legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
• Excellent legal drafting and writing skills that communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating seamlessly within a growing team dedicated to excellence.

Requirements

Requirements:
