Struck Love Acedo, PLC, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. This role is for an attorney ready to be a key player from day one. You will work closely with a lead partner handling a fast-paced caseload and be entrusted with:
- Lead Discovery and Motion Practice: Develop and execute comprehensive case strategies, drafting compelling pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs for complex civil litigation and high-profile class action defense.
- Direct Client Counseling: Advise attorneys general, corporate general counsel, and agency policymakers on legal compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic procedural development.
- Trial & Hearing Advocacy: Take an important role in depositions, motion hearings, and trial preparation, demonstrating exceptional advocacy skills.
- Case Management: Oversee all phases of the litigation lifecycle and driving cases toward a positive and efficient resolution.
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record, a commitment to excellence, and the following qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in civil defense, commercial litigation, or government defense. Federal court experience is a strong plus.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Bar Membership: Active member in good standing with the State Bar (AZ or PA preferred).
- Core Skills: Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. You must have demonstrable experience with strategic motion practice and deposition preparation.
- Mindset: A proactive, results-oriented approach and desire to collaborate with senior partners on high-level strategy.
