Locums Medical Oncologist in Georgia - Near Atlanta

Outpatient-only Oncology coverage in Macon and Hawkinsville with flexible blocks and light call.

Highlights

• April through October coverage, 2 weeks/month minimum
• One weekend call per month, mostly phone-based
• Part-time, full-time, and recurring blocks welcome
• All travel and lodging expenses covered

Practice Setting

• Outpatient clinics: 3 days in Macon, 2 days in Hawkinsville
• No BMT, acute leukemia, or inpatient duties
• Support staff onsite, Epic EMR
• Credentialing with 3 health systems (Northside, Atrium, Piedmont)

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8a to 5p
• 20 to 25 patients per day
• Credentialing in 90 days, IMLC accepted

Cases and Procedures

• General Medical Oncology only
• No hematology and no procedures
• Inpatient consults handled by other teams

Requirements

• Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
• Active Georgia license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA required
