Robinson+Cole, a Vault "Top Ranked" Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate to join its expanding Managed Care + ERISA Litigation Practice Group in the Philadelphia, New York City, Hartford, Stamford, Washington DC, Miami, or Boston offices.
Our Managed Care + ERISA Litigation team is a regional and national leader in the field, litigating cutting edge issues in important cases with a recognized history of excellence. We provide comprehensive employee benefits litigation services to a wide range of clients throughout the country, including large employers; leading companies in the health, life, and disability insurance markets; and other clients involved in the operation and administration of benefit plans. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, cross-office practice group that provides meaningful training.
The ideal candidate will have four to six years of complex litigation experience, strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and large-firm or equivalent experience. The successful candidate will receive substantial opportunities and responsibilities, including making court appearances, managing discovery, participating in depositions, and drafting briefs on critical motions. Experience litigating ERISA benefits, medical provider disputes, and/or insurance coverage disputes is valued, but not required. Judicial clerkship experience is a plus. Please note that all R+C attorneys must be admitted in the state of their primary office location.
DC, Massachusetts, and New York Applicants: Please note that the target base salary range for this position is $202,500 to $217,500. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's class year, years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location.
R+C supports the flexibility provided by a hybrid work model. Our attorneys are asked to work in the office a minimum of 2-3 days per week to benefit from in-person connection and collaboration.
