Plainview, NY
Full-Time: 35 hours, flex (evenings and weekends if needed)
Salary $70K - $80K/year

AHRC Nassau currently has a vital role for a Learning & Professional Development Manager to oversee all training and professional development across the organization, leading a team that designs and delivers comprehensive training programs for a disability services provider on Long Island.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Learning & Development team, ensuring they're well-trained, certified, and equipped to deliver quality training.
- Develop strategic training programs covering everything from onboarding and compliance to leadership development, using both in-person and digital formats.
- Maintain the organization's learning management system (likely Relias).
- Stay current with regulatory requirements such as NYS OPWDD.
- Conduct needs assessments to ensure training aligns with organizational goals and employee needs.
We require:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, or related field (Master's or professional certification preferred).
- Minimum five years in learning and development or training roles, plus three years supervising or leading teams.
- Hands-on experience with LMS platforms (Relias exp a +) is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis.
- Excellent communication abilities, solid MS Office skills.
- Ability to travel to locations around Long Island.
