Job Description2026 Baltimore Ravens Marching Band Musician
Baltimore's Marching Ravens are committed to bringing quality musical entertainment and a traditional football atmosphere to all Ravens home games as well as performing in other events on occasion (parades, fan festivals, etc.). The Marching Ravens consist of talented musicians and crew members who are ambassadors of the Ravens brand and whose hard work, dedication and commitment are part of the overall success of the Baltimore Ravens team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform a musical instrument in a variety of ensembles, as well as choreographed marches.
- Demonstrate a spirited presence and promote the Marching Ravens in a positive manner at all times.
- Attend all rehearsals, Ravens regular season and playoff home games, and performances as required throughout the season.
- Cooperate with band staff, crew, other members, and Baltimore Ravens employees.
- Follow guidelines set forth by the Baltimore Ravens and Band Administration.
Required Education and/or Experience:
- Demonstrate musical and Marching capability (similar to High School/College Marching Band Program).
- Must be 18 years or older on day of audition.
Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:
- Proficiency on musical instrument.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Must bring a positive attitude, a passion for marching band and football.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Must have reliable transportation to attend weekly rehearsals & pre-game rehearsals in Owings Mills, MD. (Transportation will be provided to M&T Bank Stadium from Owings Mills on game days).
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, running scatter drills/formations, walking, marching, twisting, bending, carrying, and playing an instrument, maneuvering around the field in close proximity to other band members, as well as playing in all types of weather & temperatures.
- Must have the physical stamina to perform during home games and other events, including parades up to 2.5 miles.
- If required for your instrument, must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
