Job Summary/Description:

WPTA, 21Alive, Fort Wayne's News Leader, is seeking a producer who is passionate about telling great stories. You'll be part of a team that values mentorship and work for a company that has extensive resources to help you grow/ You'll cover breaking news and dig deeper into important stories. We're looking for someone who can produce compelling newscasts and important stories for Northeast Indiana.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Produce a daily newscast
- Develop contacts to break important stories
- Lean into your journalistic skills and curiosity to dig deeper into major issues
- Contribute to live streaming and other digital efforts

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Strong writing skills
- Ability to quickly adapt under a deadline
- Respond to constructive feedback
- Four-year college degree in Journalism or related field
