Position Summary
Are you passionate about ensuring quality and compliance in a fast-paced, regulated environment? As an Operational QA professional at GSK, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards across manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring patient safety. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee quality systems, and contribute to GSK's mission of uniting science, technology, and talent to get ahead of disease together. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective processes for Product Quality Pharma R&D, contributing to broader business procedures as needed.
- Ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements and submissions; interact with regulators as required.
- Participate in or manage audits, regulatory inspections, and high-priority projects involving non-compliance issues.
- Identify and communicate business or reputational risks, proposing management solutions.
- Guide and train customers and internal teams on quality and compliance policies and practices.
- Advise project teams and external partners to minimize regulatory risks to GSK.
- Act as the primary business contact for assigned areas and provide compliance input to customers.
- Identify and address compliance risks through assessments and consultation regionally and globally.
- Monitor and communicate business changes affecting quality or compliance within and across departments.
- Establish improvement initiatives linked to GSK goals and maintain productive internal relationships.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience in a regulated environment.
- Experience in manufacturing or quality roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
 
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:
- Familiarity with laboratory technologies and digital tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Experience conducting audits and managing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- A proactive mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
