Description
Are you a highly skilled & self-motivated individual with CIB Domain experience with primary responsibility for driving change agenda on select operational objectives? You have found the right team!As an Operations Automation Senior Associate within the Securities Services Operations team, you have proven track record of having worked in Change roles and delivered on Transformation programs successfully. The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge and experience in latest data and digital tools like Alteryx, UiPath and Instabase. Excellent communication, collaboration and negotiation skills partnering with senior stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage strategic program throughout the Custody Operations business. You will be a subject matter expertise in Custody and Prime Brokerage products.
Job responsibilities
- Engages with stakeholders to support all aspects of process automation engagements including requirements gathering, solution architecture, solution development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement while adhering to the firm's standards, controls, and intelligence automation solutions governance
- Implements the operational automation strategy involving intelligence automation tools and works with technology to create the required infrastructure to support the capability of low-code automation
- Utilizes intelligent automation solutions to allow the team to automate functions and deliver benefits in capacity creation, risk reduction, and streamlining of operational processes
- Coaches and mentors less experienced team members on automation tools and potentially creates and/or delivers training curriculum and courses around workflow automation
- Identifies and collaborates with key stakeholders on Objectives and Key Results (OKR), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and/or metrics to deliver benefits from operational automation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience working in large, distributed teams with work experience in Testing, Software Engineering & Securities Services domain involving Trade & Settlements; Asset Servicing; Cash & FX; Reconciliation & Reporting
- A track record of hands-on experience with managing change program & implement new business processes and controls
- Strong knowledge with corporate and investment banking process, product, and systems
- Deal with day-to-day issues as well as planning and executing projects/ initiatives
- Strategic mindset with a fundamental desire to drive efficiency
- Prior experience with automation and new age tools like Tableau, Alteryx, UI Path & Process mapping tools
- Conceptual knowledge of ML coding languages and algorithms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical stakeholders of the organization
- Understanding of operational risks and related controls, audit and internal control framework
- Confidence to challenge, and be challenged, whilst remaining with a positive 'can-do' outlook
- Strong knowledge of project life cycle and its critical control points as well as financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Projects, (PMP license is a value add)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
