SERVE THE COMMUNITY AND GET ASSISTANCE WITH OPTOMETRY SCHOOL REPAYMENT.  Optometrists at CSC Health get the opportunity to work for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and qualify for federal and state programs for student loan repayment. 

Workplace 

Work in a FQHC multi-disciplinary community clinic with primary care optometry service. 
State-of-the-art equipment and facility (digital refractor, Maestro-2 OCT and retinal camera, HVF, virtual field VF, etc.)
In-house part-time ophthalmologists for co-management and referral triage
Schedule: Monday to Friday. Last appointments at 4:00pm.

Duties and responsibilities

-Work in a FQHC multi-disciplinary community clinic with primary care optometry service.

-Provide outpatient care for patients with eye-related conditions
-Conduct routine eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses when required
-Contact lens fittings
-Diagnose and management of ocular diseases
-Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

-State-issued license for optometry and O.D. and 3+ years’ experience working as an optometrist.
-Excellent customer service and organization skills.
-Advanced time management skills.
