Part-time Field Director in At-Large race in Montgomery County for June 23 Democratic Primary. 

As Field Director, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the campaign's comprehensive field strategy in partnership with the campaign manager.

Core Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain metrics-driven voter contact programs (door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, text banking)
• Field Program Ownership
• Build and execute field plan
• Manage VAN universes and turf
• Recruit, train, and retain volunteers
• Lead canvasses, phone banks, and texting
• Track and report weekly metrics
• Prepare and execute GOTV program
  
  

Requirements

Must Haves:

• Prior field organizing experience on a campaign
• Experience with Excel/Google Sheets and campaign communication tools (e.g., Slack, Mobilize)
• Experience with VAN (list building + turf cutting)
• Proven volunteer recruitment track record
• Strong data discipline
• Ability to work evenings/weekends
• Reliable access to a car
• Drivers license

Preferred:

• Montgomery County or Maryland experience
• Coordinated or primary campaign experience
• Experience scaling volunteer programs
• Spanish language skills

Weekly Time Expectation:

• 20-25 Hours/week average
• Heavy weekend availability required
• Increased hours during GOTV

Hybrid Work: This position operates without a central office. The selected candidate must be based in or near Montgomery County, MD to oversee in-county canvassing efforts.
