Love where you work! Learn valuable skills and begin your career in Pitt Athletics!Pitt-Bradford - an NCAA Division III institution - is seeking a Women's Lacrosse Coach Intern. This is a temporary, on-site, 10-month position.
Duties: Primarily reporting to the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach, the Assistant Lacrosse Coach (Intern) will assist in all phases of the program. Responsibilities include coaching and teaching (75%) and administrative duties (25%).
Coaching responsibilities:
- Assist with and provide instruction during practices and games.
- Support player development through individual and team training sessions.
- Provide strategic analysis for games and practices.
Recruiting responsibilities:
- Assist with both on-campus and off-campus recruiting efforts.
- Coordinate campus visits for prospective student-athletes.
Administrative duties:
- Monitor academic progress and provide support for student-athletes.
- Assist with game day management and event operations as needed.
Wage: Pennsylvania state minimum wage at aproximately 37.5 hours per week. This position includes housing and a meal plan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year of playing and/or coaching experience at the college level.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse community.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
- First Aid, CPR, and AED Certifications required.
