Sales Director - South Korea & Japan
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and drive the implementation of an offering (product/solution/service) strategy to align with and support the relevant business strategy. Each day, you will drive the allocation of resources across the portfolio of product lines, in collaboration with other relevant functions, to ensure that each product line has the capability to execute its own strategic plans. You will also showcase your expertise by monitoring the offering portfolio to ensure that a healthy mix and vitality is maintained.
The work model for the role is: hybrid # LI-hybrid
This role is contributing to the Machine Automation (AUMC) in South Korea.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Defining the go-to-market model and segment strategy, aligning it with the operational/execution path.
- Contributing to the definition of the business strategy and translating it into the offering and solution portfolio strategy.
- Overseeing the footprint, technology transfer, and trading model strategy definition to optimize the time to market, sales enablement, customer service levels, and product profitability.
- Supporting the Product Management organization by providing necessary infrastructure for the optimal execution of core tasks like business and performances tracking, market intelligence, roadmap planning, lifecycle management, among others.
Qualifications for the role
- 10-12 years of experience in Sales, Pre-sales, Business Development, or Technical Sales Support, including 6+ years in leadership.
- Proven ability to lead industry and portfolio specialist teams.
- Strong background in industry marketing and segment strategy across key verticals.
- Experience collaborating with R&D and Product Groups to build future opportunity pipelines.
- Skilled in creating value propositions, sales tools, and market growth strategies.
- Solid market insight capabilities, including trend analysis and competitive benchmarking.
