Description
Experienced Associate - Portfolio Valuations- A professional services organization is seeking Experienced Associates to join its Portfolio Valuations team across multiple U.S. locations. The role follows a hybrid schedule, with most in‑office work during the week and optional remote flexibility on Fridays.
Role Overview
- Associates take ownership of core valuation workstreams, collaborating closely with senior team members and client stakeholders. They manage valuation engagements end‑to‑end, support the development of junior team members, and contribute to business development initiatives. This position offers strong exposure, autonomy, and the opportunity to deepen valuation expertise within a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, review, and oversee complex financial models and valuation analyses.
- Draft and review valuation reports, presentations, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate recurring valuation assignments and provide oversight to analysts.
- Interact with clients and prepare deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain internal valuation databases and documentation.
- Monitor market activity and incorporate relevant trends into ongoing analyses.
- Prepare marketing materials and assist senior team members with pitch efforts.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant valuation experience.
- Strong analytical foundation and proficiency with valuation methodologies (e.g., DCF, LBO, market approaches).
- Advanced Excel skills; strong PowerPoint and Word capabilities.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA or CFA Level I) preferred but not required.
