About the Role

The Pro Shop Manager / Golf Professional at Hawk's Eye Golf Course plays a key leadership role in delivering an outstanding golf experience for our guests. This position combines golf instruction, pro shop operations, and guest service leadership.

As Pro Shop Manager, you will oversee daily pro shop operations while serving as a visible ambassador of Hawk's Eye. You will provide professional golf instruction, organize clinics and events, support tournaments, and work closely with resort leadership to develop programs that drive participation, enhance guest satisfaction, and strengthen Hawk's Eye's reputation as a premier golf destination.
Key Responsibilities
Pro Shop Management & Operations

• Oversee daily pro shop operations, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and professional environment
• Support merchandising, inventory awareness, and point-of-sale operations
• Serve as a primary guest contact, resolving questions or concerns with a service-first mindset

Programs, Events & Tournaments

• Organize and lead golf clinics, workshops, leagues, and tournaments
• Assist with planning and execution of golf events that promote community engagement
• Support marketing and promotional efforts for golf programs and special events

Leadership & Collaboration

• Collaborate with golf and resort leadership to develop new programs and initiatives
• Uphold Shanty Creek service standards and foster a positive, inclusive guest experience
• Act as a role model for professionalism, hospitality, and teamwork

Golf Instruction & Guest Experience

• Participate in instruction through support of children's clinics and special events
• Deliver lessons focused on technique, skill development, and enjoyment of the game
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the course layout, conditions, and play strategies to support guests
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience managing or supporting pro shop operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching golf to players of varying skill levels
• Experience organizing golf tournaments, clinics, or special events
• Knowledge of golf course operations and resort-style golf environments
• Familiarity with modern golf technology, and training tools
